Liver fibrosis refers to the diffuse excessive deposition and abnormal distribution of liver extracellular matrix (ECM, i.e. collagen, glycoprotein and proteoglycan). It reflects the pathological repair response of the liver to chronic injury. Hepatic fibrosis is a reversible pathological process, but once cirrhosis develops when it is irreversible. So it is particularly important to diagnose and treat liver fibrosis as soon as possible. Hepatic fibrosis is not an independent disease, but a common pathological process of many chronic liver diseases. Almost all kinds of chronic liver diseases can cause liver fibrosis. Its etiology mainly includes infectious (such as chronic hepatitis B, C and D, schistosomiasis, etc.), congenital metabolic defects (such as hepatolenticular degeneration, hemochromatosis), etc. Liver fibrosis leads to the weakening of digestive function caused by liver function injury, and the synthesis and secretion of coagulation and fibrinolysis related factors, which affects the patient's daily life. At present, the diagnosis of liver fibrosis mainly includes liver biopsy, imaging and serological detection. Serological detection is gradually recognized because of its high sensitivity, staging, and detection of deposition and dissipation.
